1. Appointment times have been lengthened to allow adequate time for cleaning of all equipment and waiting areas before the next patient is due.

2. Appointments for anyone over 65 years of age, or classified by the government as being in a vulnerable group, will be made on days where there are no children’s appointments.

3. We will be limiting the footfall into the practice to help maintain adequate social distancing. Patients collecting their spectacles will be given selected times to attend the practice for their fitting.

4. There is a sanitisation area on entry to the practice where patients will be encouraged to use hand sanitiser, and have the option of wearing a disposable mask.

5. Optometrists and dispensing staff will wear a mask should any patient prefer not to wear one.

6. All of our display frames will be sanitised after being tried on by a patient.

7. Our reception desk has been fitted with a protective screen to create a barrier to prevent any possible spread of infection.

8. We have invested heavily on the latest equipment that meticulously scans the back of the eye to reduce the length of time our eye care professionals are in close proximity to patients.
